I talk to strangers
I enjoy speaking with people, like chatting with a construction worker about their work methods or lending an ear to a stranger at a party. However, this approach isn't just driven by compassion. These interactions provide me with insights into our society and discover indicators (the finger) that point towards the actual challenge (the moon).
Past
For five years, I’ve been a designer and team lead at Handmade, a creative innovation studio, working with international clients such as Amazon, Samsung, and Philips. I love translating complex project briefs into clear objectives and then prototype those into innovative solutions, covering physical and digital products, experiences and services.
Today
At this moment I’m building my own home together with my partner. We’re nearing completion so I’m looking for a new challenge.
Future
I’m looking for a position where I transition regularly between strategy, ideation and prototyping, where I have a team around me that challenges my thinking and capabilities. A place where we can strive together to have a meaningful impact on this world.

I like to capture stuff 📸
Images are striking, they radiate a story or a feeling. Composition, colors, ‘white’ space and content mixed together convey what I see, or what I want others to see. Currently doing photography as a hobby but I have been doing this professionally for a few years, enjoying the excitement of delivering not just what I see but what the client wants to see.
Developing this skill allows me to use this during projects where storytelling with visuals are needed. I know my way around the technical aspects of camera’s, lights, editing, sound & animation.
